Imagine life with zero credit cards. People would only buy what they could afford and everyone would live more within their means. Credit cards have a negative impact on people and if not very carefully managed can ruin people's lives and their marriages.
About a year into our marriage, my wife and I had amassed about 15,000 dollars of credit card debt. We some how manaed to pay it all off, but only two years later we were back in the red by about 20,000. Credit cards were the worst of our debts.
